Kerry Lynn Spindler is the founder and CEO of upscale clothing boutique KSpin Designs. She’s a former fashion model and successful businesswoman who has owned several different companies.
At only 27 years old and at the height of her career she was diagnosed with Melanoma, an aggressive form of skin cancer. Her fight against it was long, brutal and costly. Ultimately though she was able to overtake the disease and defeat it.
The entire experience left her with a unique understanding of the affliction, as well as a fiery passion to do whatever she can to educate others on how to avoid Melanoma.
Additionally, she has since become a tireless fund raising crusader for the Melanoma Research Foundation. In fact KSpin Designs itself was created in part to help fund skin cancer research.
That’s not enough for Kerry Lynn however, as she’s constantly looking for ways to do more for the cause. Recently born out of that desire is Music for Melanoma.
One of the wonderful things about the art of music is that it’s such a versatile tool in helping people cope with any number of issues, both great and small. As music helped Kerry Lynn throughout her ordeal with Melanoma, it in turn inspired her to use it to help others.
Kerry Lynn is tremendously pleased to help showcase different varieties of new music for the benefit of the artists, the public and, most importantly, the Melanoma Research Foundation.
